(TSXV:JNH) (“Jack Nathan Health” “JNH” or the “Company”) announced today that internationally recognized Chief Medical Officer Dr. Glenn Copeland has joined Jack Nathan Health to lead & expand its new strategic initiative in practice management & clinic operations, driving new operational revenues. Dr. Copeland’s focus on world-class multi-disciplinary healthcare will include: Primary care, family health & urgent care, integrated with corporate & executive health, women’s healthcare, cardiology and cardiac prevention, orthopedic and sports medicine, physiotherapy, chiropractic, medispa, etc.

Business operations excellence: He is internationally recognized for his work as the former founder, chairman and CEO of the renowned Cleveland Clinic Canada, was the founder and former CEO of Feet First and Founder and CEO of Footmaxx International. In 2008 he established the Rehab and Wellbeing Centre and Sports Medicine Centre at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.

A leader in sports medicine: Dr Copeland has treated several high-profile professional athletes over his career and has been a consulting orthopedic podiatrist with the Toronto Blue Jays since 1980. He is also the medical director for Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group, the Ottawa Redblacks and is a foot and ankle consultant for the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball.

Outstanding orthopaedic knowledge: He has pioneered advancements in both surgical and non-surgical procedures of the foot and ankle and is the author of five Canadian best-selling books on foot care including “The Foot Doctor” and “Healthy Feet” which has been translated into 12 languages.

JNH has formed a new subsidiary, Jack Nathan Functional Health Inc., that will be responsible for all corporate run clinical operations. Dr. Copeland will have a 20% equity stake with JNH owning 80% of this new subsidiary. In addition, the Company has granted Dr. Copeland 1 million share purchase options under the Company’s Option Plan, with an exercise price of $1.15, vesting over 2 years and expiring in 7 years.
Jack Nathan Health continues to expand its footprint delivering exceptional, state-of-the-art, turn-key medical centres in 76 Walmart locations across Canada, including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec.
